Meet william cowell duckworth, better known as bill
All my life, I have wanted to live the laid-back beach lifestyle. You could say with a bit of imagination, I am currently living in Margaritaville®.
I lived fifty-five years of my life in Colorado; however, I did not live there by choice. Having my biological parents killed while still under a year old, I was adopted by relatives and started my new life in Minnesota. In 1964, my adopted father was transferred to Denver where I remained until 2019. I realize Colorado is a paradise for many, but it was never for me. When all the stars aligned, I was able to make the move to the Grand Strand of South Carolina.
I've lived a more difficult life than most people, but I'm humble enough to know there are people out there who had it worse than I did. By no means has my life been typical; it is definitely an a-typical life.
My memoir is a compelling story of Tragedy, Survival, and Triumph. My journey will take you to the highest of my highs and the lowest of my lows. There were several suicide attempts along the way. In the end, you will see where my life has taken me, and I could not be happier. I have hit my golden years, and I am living the happiest part of my life now. It took almost a whole lifetime to find true happiness.
Keep abreast of my status through my blog for further updates. I plan to continue authoring books, a newly discovered passion of mine. I hope that my writing will bring you enjoyment and pleasure. The paper is my canvas, and the pen is my paintbrush.
Having completed my memoir, Tragedy, Survival, and Triumph, I am currently writing two more books and plan to publish many more.
